Happie NUTS October 2009 Discussion

It's amazing we're already into the October 2009 month's issue of Happie Nuts. The theme is "black" like with Jelly. The cover is pretty good and the content is actually very good as well. It's making me look forward to what the other gal magazines like Egg and Ranzuki have in store for October in a couple of weeks. Attached is the cover shot, contents, and back cover.

Go figure...Natsu graduated as well in this issue. Knew that one was coming when Sanpay and Hoshiaya quit.


The cover is really nice on this one, and Hiromi in particular looks awesome on it. But does anyone else feel like fashion this year is kinda weird? Like the summer fashion...the only magazines that seemed really "summery" were egg and Ranzuki, everything else was so caught up on the monotone thing and the "summer" fashion mostly looked more like leftovers from Spring or as if it had skipped straight to fall without summer even coming. And now this fall fashion looks more like te stuff you'll expect in later fall rather than early fall.

I don't really mind black, but I'm getting tired of the hat+vest+t-shirt+black leggings combo. I hope a little more variety springs up in fashion soon.

Well... I'm planning on a neutral wardrobe with with accessories based or either a pink/blue/purple or a gold/green/yellow color scheme.

YES! I completely agree. I like monotone coordinates a lot, but they really don't say "spring" or "summer" to me at all. At least the huge boho boom that hit in Spring 2008 made sense, lol.
