Wig help! So long! @_@

Okay, so I just received a new wig today and it's beautiful, not too shiny, and straight. My only problem with it is that it arrived ultra ULTRA long x_x

the length it reaches is to the half way point of my stomach.

What I wanted to know is if anyone has ever cut a wig to make it seem more normal or how I can go about it without messing it up, making it look more fake @.@

I've been browsing through youtube videos for help on how to shorten a wig but I'm still unsure.

No problem! This way you can wear the wig as she cuts it, so the length will exactly where you want it to fall on your body.

But p.s- Is the wig already in the style that you want to keep it in? Because if you plan to tighten the curls/make curls that will make it shorter. Just something to keep in mind when deciding how short you want it. :)

It's a straight wig and I do like the style :D but I do have another that could use better styling (mid length basic curly wig)

In the end, I ended up cutting it myself to save money =] I just layered in 3 sections and the shortened its length. @_@ I messed up some, but it was easy to fix my mistakes. =D
